CAPSYS CAPTURE System Requirements
These represent the minimum recommended hardware and software requirements for running a CAPSYS CAPTURE System.
System Configuration
The CAPSYS CAPTURE Server and CAPSYS CAPTURE Web Server are capable of running on the same computer. In production environments however, it is recommended that the CAPSYS CAPTURE Server and CAPSYS CAPTURE Web Server (on IIS) each run on a dedicated computer. In addition, the CAPSYS CAPTURE Database can be run on the same computer as the CAPSYS CAPTURE Server or CAPSYS CAPTURE Web Server. In production environments it is recommended to run the CAPSYS CAPTURE Database on a dedicated SQL Server computer.
CAPSYS CAPTURE Server Recommended Configuration
- Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 2016, 64-bit
- 2 GHz quad-core processor or better
- 8 GB RAM or more
- Adequate storage for working documents (20GB to 1TB or more)
CAPSYS CAPTURE Web Server Recommended Configuration
- Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 2016 64-bit
- 2 GHz quad-core processor or better
- 8 GB RAM or more
- Adequate storage for working documents (20GB to 1TB or more)
- IIS 7.5 or higher
CAPSYS CAPTURE Database
- Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher with appropriate hardware configuration
- MySQL 5.5 or 5.6 with appropriate hardware configuration (tested with MySQL ODBC Driver)
- MariaDB 10.1 or higher with appropriate hardware configuration (tested with MySQL ODBC Driver)
