Start Capturing Documents

By now you should have a fully operational CAPSYS CAPTURE System with at least one Capture Process (Batch Profile -> Document Type) configured and running, and a user account configured with permissions to capture documents and with access to at least one Batch Profile, Document Type and Queue.  Here is a quick checklist to ensure that everything is ready to go:

• Verify that your Batch Profiles and Document Types have been Activated
• Verify that your Batch Profiles have been added to a Server Group
• Verify that your User Account has access the the Batch Profiles, Document Types and Queues you intend to access (Set user and group permissions)
• Verify that the CAPSYS CAPTURE Server is running (Server Management)
• Verify that the IIS Web Server is running (Web Server Management)
• If you are accessing the CAPSYS CAPTURE Web Client outside the network firewall, make sure your firewall is properly configured

Using the CAPSYS CAPTURE Web Client

The CAPSYS CAPTURE Web Client application is how users get things done with the CAPSYS CAPTURE System.  Just Sign In using your CAPSYS CAPTURE account and start using CAPSYS CAPTURE!  Now that your system is setup and ready to use, you can start Importing, Scanning, Indexing, Classifying and working with files and documents.
