Adding Voucher to a Capture Workflow

Adding Voucher to a Capture Workflow

Overview

Once Voucher is installed and registered with CAPSYS CAPTURE Server Manager, you can add it to a capture workflow by dropping it onto a batch profile's process map as a QSX event.

  1. Run CAPSYS CAPTURE Server Manager.
  2. Expand the Batch Profiles container item in the console tree, if it is not already open.
  3. Click on the name of an existing batch profile in order to view its process map designer. If the batch profile you need does not exist, you will need to create it. Refer to Creating a New Batch Profile for more information.

Voucher is designed to process batch cases, not document cases. Therefore, you cannot drop Voucher onto a document type's process map.

  1. Once you can view the batch profile's process map designer, go to the process map toolbar (located above the process map) and click on the QSX icon to select the QSX Event tool. You know the QSX Event tool is selected when its icon in the toolbar is highlighted.
  2. Using your mouse, position the cursor anywhere inside the process map stage, and then click the left-mouse button.
  3. Using the Select QSX dialog box that opens, scroll through the list of QSX modules installed with your CAPSYS CAPTURE system until you locate Voucher QSX.
  4. Click on Voucher QSX to select it.
  5. Click OK.

You should now see a new instance of Voucher dropped onto the process map.

You can repeat the steps above to add more instances of the Voucher QSX to this or any other batch profile. Be aware that Voucher is licensed once per CAPSYS CAPTURE Server. Therefore, one Voucher license will run an unlimited number of Voucher QSX instances as long as there is just one CAPSYS CAPTURE Server running your capture system. If you add a second CAPSYS CAPTURE Server to any server group that will run an instance of the Voucher QSX, you must have a second Voucher license. If you do not know how many licenses of the Voucher QSX you own, visit the Licenses panel in CAPSYS CAPTURE Server Manager.
