Using RightFax Util

Use the RightFax Util tab on the CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for RightFax configuration dialog box to access the contents of a RightFax Server mailbox in order to remove a fax's "Viewed" flag.

Unless CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for RightFax is configured to delete faxes from the mailbox on import, it will leave each fax on the RightFax Server and add a "Viewed" flag. This flag prohibits the input source from importing the fax again. By removing the flag through RightFax Util, you make the fax available for re-import into CAPSYS CAPTURE.

Refer to Configuring CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for RightFax to learn how to access the CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for RightFax configuration dialog box through a CAPSYS CAPTURE server group.

To access the RightFax Util tab, the computer that is running CAPSYS CAPTURE Process Manager must be able to connect to the RightFax Server. Also, the RightFax Server must be running.

1. Once the CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for RightFax configuration dialog box opens, click the RightFax Util tab.
2. Click on the name of the mailbox that contains the fax(es) you want to modify.
3. Click Get Faxes.

Each fax currently stored in the mailbox will display in the table located below the Get Faxes button. If "Viewed" shows in the Flag column for a fax, then that fax will not be picked up by CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax. If the "Viewed" flag is not displayed, then the fax will be imported the next time a CAPSYS CAPTURE Service is started.

4. Click on a fax to select it.
5. Click Mark As Unviewed.

The fax "Viewed" flag no longer displays.

6. Click OK to close the configuration dialog box.
