Adding CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM to a Server Group

Once CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM is installed and registered with CAPSYS CAPTURE Process Manager, you must add it to a server group as an input source. Any CAPSYS CAPTURE Servers that are assigned to the same group can then use CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM to locate and acquire inbound faxes from a FAXCOM Server.

  1. Run CAPSYS CAPTURE Process Manager.
  2. Expand the Server Groups container item in the console tree, if it is not already open.
  3. Click on the name of an existing server group.
  4. Under Group Tasks, click Create an Input Source.
  5. In the Create Input Source dialog box that opens, select CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM.
  6. Give the input source a unique display name.
  7. Click OK.

The name of the new CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM input source displays when you view the server group in CAPSYS CAPTURE Process Manager.

You can repeat the steps above to add more instances of CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM to the current server group. Be aware that the CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM input source is licensed once per CAPSYS CAPTURE Server. Therefore, one CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM license will run an unlimited number of CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM input sources within a single server group. If you add a second CAPSYS CAPTURE Server to the server group, you must have a second CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM license. If you do not know how many licenses of the CAPSYS CAPTURE Fax for FAXCOM input source you own, visit the Licenses panel in CAPSYS CAPTURE Process Manager.
